Maybe they are, maybe I’ve missed the boat entirely, all I know is I have to do something in my life that I can feel passionate about. Food and cooking seems to be it.
About me – I’m a 20-something girl, living in Brisbane Australia. I have a passion for cooking, food and sustainability. I’m an omnivore and I’m learning to be more adventurous with my food choices. I’m interested in learning about where my food comes from, supporting local producers and businesses and learning to live more lightly in the world. I don’t think you need to be vegetarian or vegan to reduce your environmental impact, but I do believe in reducing the amount of meat I consume. It makes for more variety in my diet if nothing else. I love exploring new cuisines. And at the end of a long, busy day, I find it soothing to come home and cook.
I am far from perfect – I don’t eat perfectly (if there is such a thing!), but I aim to eat healthy, nutritious and soul-warming food. This is my little contribution to the vast world of food and recipe blogs out there.
