Ingredients

  • 200 grams White chocolate, chopped
  • 125 grams Butter
  • 1/2 cup Castor sugar
  • 2 Eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 1 cup Plain flour
  • 1/2 cup Self-raising flour Or you can use 1.5 cups plain flour and 1 tsp baking powder
  • 150 grams Chocolate chips, milk or dark

Directions

  1. Preheat over to 180*C (conventional, or 160* fan-forced).
  2. Place white chocolate and butter in a saucepan and stir over a low heat until melted and combined.  Cool mixture slightly.
  3. Stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla and mix until smooth.
  4. Add flours and milk or dark chocolate pieces and stir until just combined.
  5. Spread in a 20cm cake tin lined with baking paper.
  6. Cook for 15-20 minutes, or until firm and golden and springs up when you poke it.
  7. Cool in the tin, dust with icing sugar and cut when cold.
